Judy Garland Talent Show Cancelled

Due to conditions beyond our control, we are sorry to announce that the Judy Garland Talent Show at the Reif Center on June 16th has been cancelled.

Looking for Two Little Girl Singers

We are looking for two little girls between the ages of 5 and 10 to perform as part of our special Wizard of Oz Festival opener!

This program involves the history of the Gumm family. There are a few songs to learn, which can be provided to you. Living in town is not a requirement. The music would be sent to the girls and coaching by phone is available.  They must be available Wednesday, June 13th for dress rehearsal and the afternoon of Thursday, June 14th for the performance. The girls would appear with one other girl, 11, who is also a good singer.

  1. Wow! Very sad Liza has to do that! I wish she could keep it all, of her very own mother! I don't want to think of it as the end of an era rather than more difficult financial times. CD's don't sell as well as they use to too. I bet Liza's voice is as great as ever, but I suppose touring takes a lot of energy and investment risks.

  2. I am so sad to hear LiZa is going to sell some of her mom's items. I guess she can't afford to hold on to all of them. Heartbreaking.

  3. I am glad LiZa wants to give back the love to her fans and her mom's fans by auctioning off many beloved items held in storage for decades. What an exciting possibility for collectors.
